Papa and Children's Zoo

Papa Charlie Visits and our Trip to the Zoo

We were so excited to have Papa Charlie come out and visit us for a few days. Hollyn loved having him here to play pricesses with her and read her books. Dan and I loved it because we were able to eat great food and show family around our fun little town. We love visitors, we wish we had more. Papa also had us come and stay in a hotel with him Saturday night in Omaha where he was working. In was so nice to get away from Lincoln and stay in a nice hotel and swim. Sorry for the bad weather Papa, it just happened to snow while he was here. We love you and can't wait for you to come back again!
Hollyn and I also went to the Lincoln Zoo for the first time. It was fun to walk around in the warm weather and to check out all of the animals. Thanks goodness I was over the first trimester sickness, or I think I would have thrown up in the bug display. Hollyn let the lady put a huge cockroack on her shirt. The zoo also had a seal show that was fun to watch. We love Spring weather, hopefully it will stay.

Our Big News!

Well, I guess the cat is out of the bag, we are pregnant, or should I say I am pregnant! I am about 14 weeks along now and feeling great. I think Hollyn is the most excited out of all of us. Every night she gives my belly a hug and says I love you Baby B. She also loves to sit on my lap and talk to the baby. Dan is usually the one to tell everyone, because my philosophy is the news will either trickle down through the grape vine or people will figure it out in a few months. I guess I don't love it when people ask me how I am feeling, especially in the first trimester, or how far along I am because I have to think about it and then I realize how much longer I have to go. We got our first picture of the baby a few weeks ago, which I will post soon and we will find out the sex of the baby in June. The due date is October 20, so we won't have another December baby. Hooray! So, when we come to AZ for the summer you won't have to wonder if I am pregnant or just eating too much corn and meat.

Reflections of Christ

There was an exhibit at the Arizona Temple of pictures by Mark Mabry called Reflections of Christ. I wasn't able to see the exhibit, but everyone I talked with said they were amazing. A friend of mine sent me a link to the pictures from the exhibit put to music. I wish that I had this video, because as I watched it the Spirit was so strong. The pictures really bring out the reality of Christ's life, his crusifiction and the resurection. If you have the time go to the link below, it's a great spritual lifter. You can also go to the actualy website and learn about the artist, photographer, and locations. Enjoy!
