Easter

I know I am late by a few weeks, but to be honest it was hard to get a picture of the girls in their dresses. We were always in a rush to get to church and then Paige was always asleep when we got home. These were the best I could do. For Easter we had a pretty low key weekend, just hanging out together as a family. On Friday Hollyn didn't have school, so she had a friend come over and play for most of the afternoon. They had so much fun dressing up, playing with Polly Pockets, Barbies, and dancing around. I on the other hand was able to clean the house and Paige napped pretty much the whole time. It was a great day. Hollyn has found so many fun girl friends here in Nebraska that we are so grateful for. On Saturday we went to a shower for a friend in our old ward. It was great to see friends that I haven't seen for a while. I'm grateful that we have been in two wards here in Lincoln and met so many wonderful people. We have made a tradition here in Nebraska that Saturday is family movie night, so we rent a movie and eat dinner together picnic style on the floor. Dan loves when we make pizza, but I have got Hollyn loving turkey sausage and spinach omelets. Breakfast for dinner, delicious. Sunday we had church at 9 so we just had time to look at the Easter basket. The Easter Bunny hit it big with High School Musical 3 the movie. When we got home from church Hollyn went on her Easter Egg Hunt inside, because it was too cold outside, darn Nebraska weather. Then that night we went to a friends house for dinner. Delicious ham, potatoes, rolls, and pie. It was a great Easter and the best part was spending so much time together as a family.

Sisters

Tonight I had the girls in the bathtub and Paige was cracking up at everything Hollyn did. Hollyn loves her little sister and even loves to try to play with her and make he laugh. Paige also loves her big sister and follows her around the room with her eyes. I love my girls and am so grateful to have them in my life.
Just a few things I love about my girls

Hollyn- She is so sweet and helpful.
She still loves to cuddle and give hugs and kisses.
She loves to sing and dance and will do it no matter where she is and who is watching.
She loves notebooks and will carrying several of them with her in a purse every day. She also loves to write in her notebooks.
She loves her little sister and is very protective of her.
She learns and remembers things so quickly. Lately is has been spelling and reading.

Paige- She is always smiling and has the cutest smile.
She is always moving, either rolling or trying to crawl.
She loves her big sister and thinks she is the greatest.
She loves to sit up and stand up. I think it makes her feel like a big girl
She has a great laugh that is infectious.
She knows what she wants and goes for it.

I love you Hollsey and Paigey Waigey.

"You're my best Papa ever!"

Papa Charlie was in town last week and we had one excited four year old. Hollyn has been talking about her Papa coming ever since he told her he was coming when we were down in AZ for Spring Break. There was lots of Polly Pocket and Barbie playing, lots of meals out at delicious restaurants, lots of hugs and kisses, and most of all, lots of fun. Hollyn's favorite part was Papa getting us a room at the hotel he was staying in in Omaha. We swam, had fantastic meals, hung out, and spent time with Papa. Thanks for coming Papa Charlie. We love having you come visit. We hope you had as much fun as we did. You have two grandchildren, especially one little blond haired four year old that sure love you. We missed you Nonni. I almost forgot to mention, Hollyn is now sporting a new dew. I have been trying to talk her into getting a new haircut, but she was not having it. So, finally when she saw mom's cut she decided she was ready to have short hair two. She looks so grown up and so dang cute.
