Soccer Time!!

Hollyn started soccer for the first time a few months ago, and I volunteered to coach. I may have played lots of sports growing up, but soccer was not one of them. Let's just say I don't know anything about soccer, but the good news is neither do the girls. It's been a fun season so far, and most importantly the girls are loving it and they are really improving. It's been so much fun watching Hollyn play a sport and to improve each game. I can't wait to watch her next season when I'm not coaching. I have enjoyed coaching, but soccer is not my forte. The best part of soccer is the cute uniforms the girls get to wear, pink jerseys and pink socks, what could be better? And the girls even named themselves the flamingos and they even do a little flamingo dance. It's so stinkin' cute, I'll have to get a video of it.
Go Flamingos!
Look at that concentration!

My Paigey is growing up!!

So about a month or two ago we decided that it was time for Paige to give up the binkey. I'm pretty sure I had a harder time than she did giving them up. When I was taking the pictures, I'm not going to lie, I had a little a tear in my eye. We made a deal with Paige that if she gave Dan her binkies he would buy her a Rapunzel doll. This is her giving up the binkies.
And this is the big reward, RAPUNZEL!!

We had a few rough nights and naps without the binky, but after a few days she didn't even ask for them anymore. About a week later Paige decided she was done wearing diapers and she was ready to wear panties full time. There was not going back, she was full force and I was so surprised how well she did. She didn't really have any accidents either. So, the Broadbent family is done with diapers and we couldn't be happier. We are so proud of our big girl Paige!
