Hip Hop and Cousins

My mother-in-law signed up Hollyn and her two cousins for hip hop class with the city. I was a little sceptical at first but it actually turned out to be a good class. Hollyn learned new hip hop moves and lets just say she does not get her dancing ability from her mom. That girl can shake it better than I ever could. The best part of the class was taking it with cousins and dressing up for the performance. They got glitter and red spray in their hair, and as their instructor likes to say they dressed "funky."
The best dancers in my book.
Grandma and Grandpa were such troopers. They drove all the way to Queen Creek, 30 minutes, for a 2 minute performance and it was even a catering day for my mom. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Last Day of Kindergarten!!

I can't believe the school year is already over. What a year it has been! Hollyn had the most incredible kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Eversole. She went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. Hollyn loved going to school everyday, learned a ton, and made many great friends, I couldn't have asked for a better school year. Hollyn's biggest fan

End of the Soccer Season

Hollyn played her first season of soccer this winter and absolutely loved it! The best part was that she was able to play on the same team as her cousin Kate. Hollyn was also able to make lots of new friends and she became quite the soccer player. I decided to give coaching a try and realized that I am not a soccer coach. I love coaching my daughter, but I don't know anything about soccer. From now on I am leaving coaching soccer to those who actually know the game. Coach and daughter

Evening of the Arts

Hollyn's school had an evening of the arts. They displayed all of the kids art work from Art Masterpiece. It was also a way for the school to raise money, it's always about fund raising. They had some amazing baskets you could bid on and a front row parking spot at the school. I am definitely bidding on that one next year. Picking up and dropping of at the school can be a bear.

Easter

I love the skirt and cardigan look, so every year I try to find new fun colors. This year I fell in love with bright yellow and blue. I'm also a sucker for the girl's matching. For Easter this year we spent Saturday with my parents at their wards annual Easter Egg Hunt. Each year it gets bigger and bigger, and the kids absolutely love it! They always get a ton of eggs and get to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa. Sunday we had an Easter Egg hunt with Dan's family and all the cousins. Dan's parents have the best back yard for egg hunts.
