When we moved to Lincoln we started a tradition of Dan taking Hollyn to the Daddy Daughter Dance at our gym. Hollyn loved dressing up and then being able to pick out her dad's tie. She also loved having that special time with her dad. This was our first year doing it here in Arizona and it was also Paige's first time going. From the day I signed up the girls at our gym, Paige couldn't stop talking about going to the "Datty Dotter Donce." When the day finally arrived both girls were so excited. They got all dressed up, and picked out their Dad's tie to match them perfectly. This dance was pretty amazing! They had a catered dinner, a horse drawn carriage ride, crafts, pictures, dancing with a DJ, and a craft. The girls had such a fantastic time, and Dan well he loved spending time with the girls but he was pretty worn out, especially from chasing Paige. This will definitely be a tradition we will be keeping. Aren't they the cutest!

Grandmas are the BEST!!
Last month Hollyn was to go to two performances with each grandma. First, she went to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dream Coat with Grandma, my mom. Hollyn was so excited to get dressed up and go out to dinner (Chick fil a) and see a play with just she and grandma. A few days before she went Dan and I told her the story of Joseph, so she would be able to understand some of it. I wish they had a musical for all of the bible stories. Hollyn had such a great time! When we picked her up she was so exhausted she crashed right when we started driving home. The next morning she couldn't wait to tell us about all of the songs and costumes.
Second, Hollyn went to Disney on Ice with Nonni and three of her cousins. They had such a great time seeing all of the Disney characters and spending time with Nonni and the cousins, and not to mention Chick fil a on the way home. They all had the biggest smiles on when they came home and told us all about the show.
I wish I had a picture from the play too.
Grandma's are the best and we are so lucky to have to fantastic grandma's that love spending time with our kids!
