For Valentines Day Hollyn invited her friend Olivia over to frost sugar cookies for themselves and Dad. Hollyn was so particular about frosting the cookie and not getting any on herself. If she happened to get some on her hands she would whipe it off instead of licking it. ( I have no idea where that comes from ) She did love eating the cookie once she frosted it, although I think she prefered the cookie without frosting, and it was even pink.
That night Hollyn helped me make dinner for Dan. We made my Dad's famous Sweet and Sour Chicken. It was deliousous. Better than waiting our turn at any restraunt.
On Saturday night Dan took Hollyn to the Daddy Daughter Dance at the gym. They got to dress up, which Hollyn loved, she even got to pick out Dan's tie. She kept calling him her prince charming, which of course he is. When they got to the dance they took a picture of them together by an adorable heart backround. (When they send us the picture I will definitely post it) Then they went in and danced the night away. They even had refreshments for them, cookies, punch and fruit snacks. The best part was when Hollyn left the dance they gave her two pink roses. Hollyn loved having a daddy daughter night and they were both exhausted and happy when they got home.

Oh, it's a dress. And I bought it, wore it to church and took a picture in it when I got home. Cute pictures!
that is so cute. i'm sure every little girl would love a dance with their dad.
Was this at her dance studio? Adorable. You can answer here, I'll subscribe to the comments.
The dance was at the YMCA, but she does take dance there too. They always have fun things going on for families.
That is so precious! Dan always was the ladies' man! =) Seriously so cute though...what a great idea!
How fun for Hollyn. Was it put on by the ward? If so, that is a great idea. They look so fancy! Just for the record, today's temp is 76 degrees. And sunny.
